One of SAA’s leadership opportunities is becoming a member of the Executive Committee. This group is comprised of 6 members who have been involved with SAA for at least one year, and are committed to playing a leadership role in the organization.

The 2006-2007 Executive Committee members are:

President Matthew Robinson – Oversees all SAA events, assists committee chairpersons, coordinates long term planning, presides over general and executive SAA meetings, and serves as a non-voting representative member of the Boise State Alumni Association’s Board of Directors.

Vice President Annie Dalton – Facilitates the committee structure and committee chairperson selection. Assists the president in project planning and facilitates projects, and conducts SAA and Executive Committee meetings in the President’s absence.

Secretary/Treasurer Brandi Long – Serves as the financial liaison of the organization. The Treasurer assists the Advisor and the President in preparation of requests for funding from the Alumni Association, as well as in setting and monitoring the SAA operating budget. She also coordinates and facilitates annual fundraisers, maintains typed copies of all meeting minutes, establishes and revises SAA files as necessary, maintains attendance records, and maintains general Association correspondence.

Public Relations Officer Flor Albor – T he Public Relations Officer coordinates all external public relations efforts for SAA, and markets social events and activities as desired by the members.
